Jesus says in
John 3:14-15 "And as Moses
lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of
Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have eternal life." It is with this desire that Covenant
Mission will host "Services in the Park" one
Saturday per month during the summer months. Join us next
season!
Our
prayer is that Jesus Christ will be
lifted up in the
Bloomington-Normal community and
draw all people to Himself, (John
12:32). Check back for our September date, time, and
location. All are welcome!
Covenant is currently working in
conjunction with
Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church's
food pantry in distributing food for needy families. We
have been blessed with the opportunity to help those in need and
will continue to do so while food is available. If you or
someone you know are
in desperate need, please contact us. Please pray for
these families.
In 2005, Covenant began involvement
with
Project Angel Tree during the
Christmas season. This provided the Mission and its
members the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for children
of good behavior prison inmates who are nominated by a prison
religious figure on behalf of that parent. Please remember
to keep these families in your prayers.

And
be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath
forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32 |
